Body Owners has a strong ethical and moral conviction that guides all business and patient care decisions. We will always place the well being of the patient first and remain above reproach when dealing with the business of physical and occupational therapy. All of our therapists are members of their national professional association including the APTA and AOTA. These associations establish high ethical practice standards that we as a therapist use to guide us at Body Owners.
Body Owners Physical Therapy and Wellness Center is therapist-owned outpatient physical therapy clinic specializing in the rehabilitation of all orthopedic injuries and conditions. Our clinicians have many years of combined orthopedic physical therapy experience and have a personal concern for each patient. Once becoming a patient at Body Owners, it becomes evident that you have entered a friendly, comfortable and professional atmosphere where the goal is to help you return to your optimal level of health, well-being and function, whether that’s returning to a sport, a job or a way of life.
Our approach to treatment is to assess and find dysfunctions causing symptoms, then correct the cause through the use of manual (hands-on) therapy, neuromuscular reeducation, therapeutic exercise, bio mechanical corrections and state of the art modalities. We include our patients and caregivers in the design and implementation of their rehabilitation program encouraging active participation in the process. Each patient receives a home exercise program and is instructed in a self-care program with the ultimate goal of being pain free with all functional activities. Patients also receive education on maintenance and prevention to eliminate reoccurrence of their impairments. We offer flexible scheduling with convenient early morning and evening appointments. Our front office staff is highly trained and very friendly, and will verify insurance
“I would like to thank all the employees at Body Owners for the amazing job you have done with my therapy and helping me to get back to 100% after my surgery. You provided an enjoyable, fun, and professional environment that I looked forward to with each appointment. I would also like to thank you for the special concern that you showed for me as a patient and as friend while I was in the hospital. Every member of the staff at Body Owners has had a profound impact on my recovery and I do and will continue to recommend your services to anyone in need of physical therapy.” --RB
